The Long Island Lightning compete in the NWBA. We have two Varsity teams consisting of athletes ages 13 through High School graduation. When possible we also field a Prep team consisting of athletes ages 7 - 12. Our teams travel all over the country to compete. In the past few years we have gone to Baltimore Maryland, Richmond Virginia, Whitewater Wisconsin, Houston Texas, Seattle Washington, Stillwater Oklahoma, Denver Colorado and in 2005 we went to San Jose California where our Varsity team was crowned National Champions We practice every Monday night from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Our main practice facility is the Rosemary Kennedy Center in Wantagh. When that gym is unavailable we also use McRae Auditorium at Nassau University Medical Center or the gym at the West Babylon Community Youth Center.
